Abode Narrabundah

Front desk receptionist gave friendly service with a smile. We had a couple of hiccups on arrival but the staff member sorted things to our satisfaction. Whilst they are apparently having issues with their a/c, the portable heaters in the room were extremely efficient and the room was toasty warm on a cold Winters Night. My bed in Rm 24 was comfortable and medium/firm to my liking. Water pressure in shower strong and hot. Parking in open air carpark plentiful.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, laundry facilities in bathroom. Very clean. We were originally given the wrong room, i.e. without the bathroom laundry facilities, but this was swiftly rectified when we went to reception to tell them. We liked the accommodation so much that we are now staying in another Abode hotel at Malua Bay - equally lovely.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room had everything we needed. The air con was broken but they provided portable heaters and blankets and we were warm. Bed was softer than im used to with some weird bumps in the middle but the sheets and blankets were comfortable and warm. Good shower pressure and heat. Parking was good and easy to get to the places we needed to.

Very large room, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Only one floor up so easy access to our room, with a ramp up the front entrance into reception. Super clean, with a large bathroom and washer/dryer. Flat easy free parking is always a great bonus. Quiet location despite being near a main road with the hotel super easy to find. Friendly professional staff.

The layout and facilities of the unit were great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a phone call letting us know there was a problem with the heating. We were offered a full refund and cancellation or a portable heater and extra blankets. So glad we chose the latter. It was a lovely place to stay. Parking was very no problem. We had an appointment at the Canberra hospital and getting there was easy.
